About the the Sacred Arts Fund

The Sacred Arts Fund was established in 2005 by a group of individuals passionate about Christian music and arts. Its’ mission is to support, fund and promote Christian music and are through charitable contributions obtained on its behalf. The funds received will be used in support of arts integral to the music program, to promote higher standards of excellence in performances and to subsidize the work of deserving artists. The Fund is monitored and advised by prominent area musicians and artists.

    • Choral, orchestral and organ performances.
    • Individual and group vocal and instrumental activities.
    • Symposia and conferences concerning sacred arts.

Organization

  • The Sacred Arts Fund, hereinafter called “the Fund”, is a 501(c ) (3) organization of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Code. The Employer Identification Number (EIN) is 20-3493683. The Fund is also a Colorado Nonprofit Corporation
  • The Fund is not connected to Cherry Creek Presbyterian Church
  • The Fund is operated by a board of 5 individuals, appointed on November 22,2005. Board members have a great appreciation of the sacred arts and a desire to serve Jesus Christ and the Fund.
  • The Fund Board is advised by competent and certified individuals at the call of the Board.
  • In accordance with Section 501 (c )(3) of the IRS Code, this organization is a public charity
  • In accordance with Section 501(c )(3) of the IRS Code, upon dissolution of this organization the remaining assets will be used exclusively for exempt charitable purposes.
  • The Fund area of operation is the Denver, Colorado metroplex or as determined by the Board.
  • The Fund is endowed by charitable donations.

Procedures

  • When individuals involved with an aspect of sacred arts are deemed to be deserving of financial assistance by the Board or its’ advisors, the Board and the advisors will determine the amount of assistance appropriate and available and provide that assistance from the Fund.
  • Donations designated for the Sacred Arts Fund will be acknowledged and receipted as charitable contributions
  • Check donations should be made payable to “Sacred Arts Fund”.
